The Social Action Committee for Racial Justice (SACRJ) seeks to provide information and raise awareness of a valuable resource that is available to Kent County Public School families. SACRJ is aware of the concerns raised about the disparity in treatment of students of color in the disciplinary process within the school system. In order to address these concerns SACRJ has created Rapid Response Team Services, which are available to students/parents/guardians, to resolve discipline actions or disputes. The Rapid Response Team will provide professional support and resources to assure that families are educated about student rights.
This service may also include mediation and/or participation in meetings between the student/guardian and school administration. This service is FREE to Kent County residents and can be accessed by calling 410-417-7295 or emailing SACRacialJustice@gmail.com
